Custom and standard profiles for aircraft door seals, cable jacketing, clamp cushions, tubing, hatch cover gaskets, silo hatch seals, and watertight seals are but a few examples of products WARCO BILTRITE extrudes for the military and for the aerospace industry.
Profile gasketing for sealing doors, window glazing channels, and shower openings in both residential and commercial building environments.
Windshield seals, camper shell boot seals, channels and fenders.
Profiles for conveyor systems and warehouse applications. Compounds can be formulated to meet industrial, as well as food grade applications…”From rocks to eggs!”
Our extrusion equipment is extremely versatile. We are capable of producing cable jacketing, O-ring cord stock, tubing, squares, rectangles, as well as irregular shapes in a wide variety of sizes. Rectangles can be up to 5 inches thick and up to 9 inches wide or 2 1/2 inches thick and 15 inches wide with cord diameters up to 7 inches.
Rubber extrusions can be spliced and vulcanized to form an endless variety of shapes.WARCO BILTRITE's extensive splicing capabilities allow us to produce seals and gaskets for a broad array of aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, construction, food processing, industrial, oil and gas, wire and cable, as well as military applications.
Our Splicing Department personnel are experts in creating high-quality spliced products. WARCO BILTRITE formulates and mixes its own proprietary adhesives for the specific rubber compound that we’re splicing. After the application of the adhesive material, the parts are then placed in molds where heat and pressure are applied to vulcanize the material, thusly ensuring a long-lasting, reliable product.
Advanced equipment and multiple cavity molds permit high-volume production of O-ring and various other shapes – including squares, rectangles, and irregular profiles – at a fraction of the cost of alternative production methods. Combinations of extruded and molded parts can be spliced as well, allowing limitless configurations; resulting in substantial savings in time and tooling costs.
Our rubber products are a proprietary blend of various polymers formulated to meet stated physicals and specifications. The named polymer is not necessarily the polymer representing the highest percentage of the polymer blend.
